The Child Enrichment Center (CEC) is a child enrichment ministry of Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.  Our purpose is to provide a Christian environment for children to learn and grow and to provide a safe and loving atmosphere so that parents can feel secure leaving their children in our care.

The CEC has a rich foundation for offering top quality childcare to the Gardendale community.  We offer parents a more flexible choice for the work week while they are assured in knowing that their children are having fun and learning skills they need to grow each day.  We strive to exceed the Department of Human Resources requirements and provide quality care and instruction to the children entrusted in our care.
